InfoWest didn’t start in a boardroom.

It started in a college lab at Dixie College in 1994, when three friends, Kelly, Aaron, and Randy, decided Southern Utah deserved better internet.

Thirty years later, they’re still here. Still local. Still building. Still answering the phone.

From dial-up and early cable experiments to modern wireless and fiber-optic networks, InfoWest has grown alongside the internet itself. We’ve been early adopters, problem solvers, and sometimes the only option for people who just wanted reliable internet where no one else would show up.

Today, InfoWest delivers honest, high-quality internet to homes and businesses across Utah and select parts of Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado — using wireless, fiber, and whatever technology gets the job done right.

No hype. No nonsense. Just internet that works.

How We Got Here (The Short Version)

1994 – InfoWest is founded at Dixie College. Yes, the founders still work here.
Late 90s – Dial-up, early fiber investments, and one of the region’s first cable modem systems.
Early 2000s – DSL, wireless expansion, and our first offices beyond St. George.
2010s – Major wireless network growth, fiber deployments, acquisitions, and regional expansion.
2021 – Named to the Inc. 5000 for rapid growth.
2022 – Joined the Boston Omaha family of ISPs while staying locally operated.
2023–2025 – Best of State (three years in a row), Best Place to Work, and over 25,000 customers served.
2024 – InfoWest turns 30. Still not slowing down.
2026 – More fiber projects, more happy customers, more growth!

We’ve built networks in arenas, deserts, neighborhoods, and places most providers wouldn’t touch. If there’s a way to get reliable internet there, we’ve probably tried it.
